To reach Silver Falls, you can take a scenic drive that lasts for about two hours. The hike is only 0.2 miles away from NF Road 667. To get to the Silver Falls trailhead, you need to drive south on Hwy 160 for 7 miles from South Fork until you reach Demijohn Road (NF-380). Continue going south on NF-380 until you reach Elwood Pass. Once you’re there, take a right turn onto NF-667 and drive towards the west until you reach the Silver Falls trailhead. The hike to the falls is only 0.2 miles long, but it includes a 198-foot elevation gain.
The lightly-used trail can be accessed by most all-wheel drive SUVs via the dirt road. Please be aware of 4-wheelers traveling on these roads. The hike should not take more than 30 minutes, but you can estimate your time with our Hiking Time Calculator.
