The Blanca Peak Trail is a 2.5-mile out-and-back trip that starts at Como Lake and climbs 2,729 feet to Blanca Peak, which is located at 14345. To access Como Lake and the trail, you’ll need a lifted 4-wheel drive vehicle. Lake Como Road, the Blanca approach road, is 3.2 miles from Hwy 150 to the National Forest boundary. Beyond this point, a 4×4 vehicle is required. Follow the Blanca 4×4 track for 4.1 miles to reach the gate at Como Lake.
