The Alder Bench Trail is located 12 miles from South Fork. Take Hwy 149 west from town about a mile and turn right onto N River Road. After about 1.2 miles turn left onto Forest Service Road 610 and follow to the trailhead. The Alder Bench Trail is an out-and-back 2.2-mile trip one way.
