After driving 1 mile south from Southfork, take County Road 20 and continue for 6.5 miles until you arrive at the Fir Trail Trailhead. The trail is a 0.5 mile out and back trip, starting at an elevation of 8854 feet and ending at 9206 feet with a total elevation gain of 356 feet.
